REMODELING PAIGE
After looking through the storyboards from the team, I realised that Paige’s arm is too far behind which would be impossible for her to reach to the front. Paige also did not have enough subdivisions for a good weight distribution when it comes to weight painting, so I decided to remodel Paige.
I went onto ZBrush and masked Paige’s arm and move it to the front a little. After a bunch of reshaping, dynamesh and smoothing I have a new version of Paige’s model.
RIGGING PAIGE
One animator from each team had a different request on how they wanted Paige to be rigged. One of them preferred an IK setup with a non-detachable leg, another preferred an FK setup with detachable legs so that they can push the style even more.
